We have sold all of our Quarter Horse breeding stock and are down to one retired mare, one ranch/compeition gelding, and two 2016 foals, with the 2016 gray colt listed for sale.  We loved the horses we had, but it was time for us to cut back and be able to spend more time trail riding and increasing our registered Beefmaster cattle operation.  Listed below are the remaining horses we have, plus a few of the most recent ones we sold who were quite special to us (and some we hope to see competing with their new owners in the future).
Bet Hes Gunna Do It
Dewey is in training with Double A Performance Horses - we look forward to seeing him competing in the future!

2016 Stallion
Bet Hesa Cat (NCHA LTE: $267,000+ NCHA Open World Champion) x Playgun Lyn
Dewey is a full brother to Bet Hes Gotta Pistol below.  We know that he has a bright future with his strong cutting and reined cow horse pedigree. If he does not sell, we will put him in reined cow horse training in the spring of 2018.

Wild Haired Remedy

2009 Gelding
Wild Haired Cat x Ima Rodder
Ranch Gelding/Cow Horse Events
Harry is our go-to Quarter Horse when we need some horse power on the ranch. He is used for gathering, sorting and he helps out in the starting many of our young horses in the round pen. He is fully trained for Reined Cow Horse events and now that he is currently our only riding Quarter Horse, we will be sending him back for a tune up with Adam Donaldson and he may be shown in some Reined Cow Horse events. Bob may also show him in some of the local ranch versatility shows.
Muchacha Paloma

1996 Mare
Docs Muchacho x Oak Mindy

NCHA Earnings: $5,675, COA
2000 PHBA World Cutting Amateur Reserve Champion
PHBA Honor Roll
NCHA Day Area 25 $10,000 Novice Champion
Paloma was our first cutting bred cutting horse and Bob learned a lot on her before she was retired to broodmare status.  She is the dam of Itty Kitty, Cattniss, and One Royal Muchacha and is now retired completely and living the good life as the senior mare in our herd.
La Paloma Dulce

2016 Mare
Smart Sugar Badger x Itty Kitty
Sugar is a beautiful young filly with a lot of chrome. With her pedigree, she will be able to do just about anything related to a cow. We are keeping her to join Harry as one of our ranch horses, and maybe train her for a few cutting events.

Itty Kitty

2006 Mare
WR This Cats Smart x Muchacha Paloma

NCHA Earnings: $6,016, COA
Split 3rd, Kansas CHA Classic Non-Pro
Money-earner CHA Nebraska Non-Pro Classic
NCHA Area 25 $5000 Novice Horse Non-Pro Champion
Itty was the first horse we bred that we took successfully to the cutting pen. Itty's name came from her "Cat" pedigree and from the name of a cat that was special from Adrienne's childhood (also named Itty Kitty, and an orange tabby male). It was hard to make the decision to sell Itty, but we are glad she is in a good home in OK where we hope she brings success and good foals to her new owners.
Playgun Lyn

2004 Mare
Playgun x Handle Lyn It

NCHA Earnings: $2,635
Mid American Equine 4-year-old Futurity Open Co-Reserve Champion
Although we did not breed Lyn we owned her from her yearling year on until we sold her in 2017.  It was very hard to sell her, too, as she was just a sweetheart of a mare. She had explosive moves in the cutting pen and was only retired due to soft tissue pasture injuries that plagued her after she started training (she actually sustained these injuries before we purchased her but she appeared sound at the time). Lyn has moved to Mexico where her new owners are anxiously awaiting her new foal by Sweet Lil Pepto.
Purrfect Royalty

2015 Stallion
NCHA Champion One Time Royalty x Itty Kitty

Purrfect Royalty was just purchased by a trainer out of NC and we hope to see him in the competitive arena, either cutting or reined cow horse, in the future. This is Itty's first foal.
Lil Chatty Cathy

2015 Mare
Dual Smart Rey (sire of both an Open NCHA and NRCHA Futurity Champion) x Playgun Lyn

Cathy got her name because she constantly 'talked' as a new baby.  She is out of Playgun Lyn and was just recently purchased by Jody Galyean - we hope she has a bright cutting future in his program!
Bet Hes Gotta Pistol

2013 Stallion
Bet Hesa Cat (NCHA LTE: $267,000+ and an NCHA Open World Champion) x Playgun Lyn
Pistol was purchased by Fink Quarter Horses in Montana where he was to be trained in cow events and eventually become a herd sire. Unfortunately, he suffered a freak stall accident and broke his neck.  The wonderful people at Fink Quarter Horse had him treated and were able to bring him back home, definitely as a herd sire, and MAYBE he can be ridden again in the future. We hope he produces many great babies for them in the future!
Hes Playgun Royalty

2014 Stallion
One Time Royalty (NCHA Open Futurity Champion) x Playgun Lyn
Ruger was sold to Fisher Quarter Horses in MT (referred to us by Fink Quarter Horses!) and currently is in training for reined cow horse events. His owner reported that he is on track for the MT futurities and they may take him to the futurity in Ft Worth if he continues to do well! We will be watching for his progress!
